Gabriel Casal, CEO of GSA BPO, shares his vision for the company’s next stage of growth and transformation. Technology, human talent, and a projected 50% growth come together in a strategy focused on creating value, employment opportunities, and sustainable growth from Mar del Plata.
After more than 35 years in the industry, one thing has become increasingly clear to me: a company does not grow simply by acquiring new clients or increasing its operational volume. It grows when it is able to evolve without losing sight of why it exists and the impact it wants to create.
At GSA BPO, we have gone through many different stages. We have witnessed changes in technology, communication methods, customer expectations, and the needs of the people who make organizations work. Every transformation has challenged us to learn and, often, to rethink the way we do things.
Today, we are entering a new stage.
The development of Artificial Intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics is profoundly changing the Contact Center and Business Process Outsourcing industries. Rather than seeing these changes as a threat, we see them as an opportunity to evolve our business model and, above all, create greater value.
Technology can process enormous amounts of information, identify patterns, and help us make faster decisions. But behind every interaction there is still a person. And behind every strategic decision, there are people as well.
That is why our challenge is not to choose between technology and human talent. It is to make both work together in the most effective way possible.
Transformation Also Happens Within the Organization
When we talk about innovation, we often think exclusively about systems, platforms, or Artificial Intelligence. For me, innovation also means changing the way we think about an organization.
It means developing people who are capable of working with new tools. It means creating opportunities to learn. It means listening to our teams and understanding what they need to perform at their best.
In recent years, we have incorporated new technologies that allow us to better understand our operations and turn data into useful information. GSA Voice IQ is part of that process: a solution that combines Speech Analytics and Artificial Intelligence to analyze interactions and help us identify opportunities for improvement.
But the real value emerges when that information reaches the right people and is transformed into concrete action.
Ultimately, that is the kind of innovation we believe in.
An Opportunity to Grow from Mar del Plata
We are projecting 50% growth over the next three years. It is an ambitious goal and, at the same time, a tremendous opportunity.
We want to add new clients, expand our presence across different industries, and develop new services. But there is another consequence of that growth that is even more important to us: the opportunity to create jobs and professional development.
A growing company can hire more people. But it can also build new teams, create opportunities for those taking their first steps in the workforce, develop talent, and enable the people already within the organization to continue growing.
That is a fundamental part of our vision.
And doing this from Mar del Plata makes it especially meaningful.
For a long time, there was a perception that major professional and business opportunities were necessarily concentrated in the largest urban centers. I believe technology is helping us prove that this reality can change.
We can be based in Mar del Plata and work with companies across the country. We can develop competitive technological solutions, build specialized teams, and create quality employment while continuing to invest in our city.
The Kind of Growth We Want
I am not interested in GSA simply becoming a larger company. I want it to become a better one.
An organization that is more prepared for change, more innovative, more diversified, and capable of offering better opportunities to the people who are part of it.
Economic growth is important, of course. But so is the impact that growth creates.
If we add new clients while developing new professionals, we are growing.
If we implement Artificial Intelligence while training our teams to make the most of it, we are growing.
If we expand our operations and that process creates new opportunities for people in Mar del Plata and other communities, we are growing.
That is the kind of growth we are looking for.
Looking Ahead
After more than three decades, we have learned that there is no definitive formula for the future. What we can do is prepare ourselves for it.
We have experience, technology, and a team with deep knowledge of our operations. Now we have the challenge of bringing those three elements together to build our next chapter.
The goal is ambitious: to achieve 50% growth over the next three years while doing so sustainably, creating value for our clients, opportunities for our teams, and a positive impact on the communities where we operate.
I am convinced that the companies that will make the greatest difference in the years ahead will be those that understand that innovation and humanity are not opposing concepts.
Technology can transform an industry.
People are what transform a company.
And at GSA BPO, we want to keep growing with both.
